Motorcycle Man Review

Allow me a moment to fan myself. There is just something about a man that tells you what to do that makes you want to murder and seduce him.

Tyra Master's has just walked out of her secure life and refuses to look back. She hated her job, it made her physically ill. So what does she do? She gets a job as the office manager at a car shop owned by a Biker Gang. That's not where the fun ends, because what does she doe before she starts work? She goes to one of the biker parties and bangs her boss. He proceeds to kick her out of bed the next day with out a wave goodbye.

This is where I get irritated. She shows up at work the next day and seems surprised to see him exiting with another female. Come on he kicked you out of bed and won't admit he knows your real name. Then he tells her she can't work there because he doesn't employ females he f**ks.I have to give Tyra her kudos, she doesn't stand there in her fab-tastic peep toe sling back kitten heels and take it. Nope she throws down and tells him to basically shove it up his ass she is staying. This is where Tack falls. I could for see this fall at that exact moment. As in all novels what does tough guy biker dude enjoy most? I redhead not taking his shit.

This is where they start to play a game of cat and mouse. Kristen Ashley tries to make us believe Tyra truly has moments of fear involving how Tack acts. I think it's bullshit. Tyra has fear of herself. She is scared to step back on the roller coaster of life put both hands up and just live. Tack warms to me when he starts to teach her. He shows her she's been living a colorless life. I know this because Ashley stresses the color of things after her and Tack start to be official.

Of course there is drama and action and hot sex. I love that Tack's kids are close with him and his ex wife is a psycho nut job. I have never truly been so disgusted with a person as I was with her. I wanted to reach through Kindy's screen and slap the shit out of her. Ugh.

Over all this is a goodread as Kristen Ashley's books tend to be. My only dispute I have is that Tyra looses some of her fierce attitude. Which is what makes her so amazingly paired with a character like Tack. Also her constant attempt to fend him off, she should know. When a man like Kane "Tack" Allen wants you there is nothing you can do to stop it.

What the hell was I thinking!?!

With the quickly approaching release date of Opal, I have discovered something. I NEVER WROTE A REVIEW OF ONYX!!

I am distressed! I am a total JLA stalker and the fact that I read Onyx(multiple times) and did not review it has cracked my heart in a million little Alien light baby pieces. I don't know what was going on in my life at the specific moment but it can not continue!

The BRIGHT side to this. I can re read before the Opal release and be very caught up on my Katy Daemon action. So I might drop of the face of the world wide web, as I tend to do when JLA's writing is involved.

Wish me luck! Toodles!
