Ruined By: S. Pratt

So Basically this is it in a nutshell:
Bailey Michaels is living a lie. She has a handsome and successful fiancĂ©, a great job and a house in a town she adores. Her friends and family know her as the perfectly crafted individual she has created in their minds. Her deception knows no bounds when it comes to keeping the truth from everyone else. But it’s not enough. She craves the love of the one man she can’t possibly have – the only one who shares her secret.

Despite her angst over continuing her forbidden affair, nothing can keep her from Angel.

His dark looks, chiseled jaw and broodiness make it impossible for her to ever deny him anything. So when presented with a choice, Bailey knows she finally has to make a decision. Keep living the lie with her fiancĂ©, Carron, or finally be with Angel – the man who’s had her heart since she was fifteen.

The funny thing with life though; just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, fate has a way of stepping in and turning the best laid plans to ruins.

Holy Shit Batman I didn't see that on e coming! Ok I did but When we met him in his true identity he had a different name. WTF.. way to through me for a loop S. Pratt!

This was good and do I mean GGGOOOOOODDD! I was captured from the beginning. Bailey's inner struggle was addictive. You wanted her to kick the habit, but I couldn't put it down. Watching her break down and lie to everyone was sickening. A love that strong and addictive is such a beautiful train wreck! I loved it, I hated it, I wanted to cry when she did.

Poor Carron. He is the definition of a good guy. Doctor, caring, easy going and still there for her when it all comes crumbling down. He understands. I just want to hug em and cuddle, and a man that gets you off before himself... well it can't get any better!

I loved it! I don't even know how to review it because it's going to be a bunch of me raving and screaming with love and confusion. So just read it! That way you can see for yourself!

Never Too Far

Title: Never Too Far
Author: Abbi Glines

I need a Rush in my life.

I'm sad that Rush and Blaire's story has come to a end.

It was and is all the things that make me stare at my boyfriend in anger, for for our lack of all things that is this relationship.

It is:
EPIC
TRAGIC
 SHEXY
 RUSH

I love how fierce, loyal and independent Blaire is. When she gave Caine the Business, well let's just say this was my reaction...

You go Girl!!

Well we all know how I feel about that hunk of man candy called Rush...

So overall I loved the story the writing, I pretty much love Abbi Glines.

Only thing I don't like is how much of a BEOYTCH Nan is..

That is all.

Gabriel's Inferno

Title: Dante's Inferno
Author: Sylvain Reynard

I actually finished this quite a few months back. I need this time to collect my thoughts.

The concept, held so much potential. This could of been epic. Sadly, it was not. The main reason is Julia. It's as if she was cast in a role she was not born to play. She was weak and young minded. I wanted to reach through the screen of my kindle and slap the shit out of her. That is the only emotion I truly felt during the time I was acquainted with GI as I call it in my head.

Gabriel Emerson is a intense conflicted man. If we were able to get s glimpse into what makes Gabriel tick, a lot sooner there might have been more of a connection. Some plots work best when we are kept in the dark about one of the main characters inner conflicts. This is not one of them. It stopped me from being able to form a connection.

Over all the whole read, just was. I was more intrigued in the bits about Dante, then I was about the story over all. I don't hate or love it. I just read it.

Beautiful Bastard

Title: Beautiful Bastard
Author: Christina Lauren

Where oh where is my Beautiful Bastard?? This was GGGOOOOOOODDD!

When it first started it kind of hit me as, WOW THEY HAVE A LOT OF SEX. There seriously was no plot in the beginning. They hated each other, but they had sex. The first time in the boardroom it was like, BAM and I was like... well that came out of no where, but he ripped her panties. I mean the man RIPPED her PANTIES constantly. By that point I was hooked. Plot or not, this had the making of good sex. Something you must know about me.

Good sex... yeah, I can dig it.

Chloe, you are one fierce chick! I give you props. I bow before your ability to bring Bennett to his knees and walk away. Leaving him with a massive case of Blue Balls. GIRL POWER!I couldn't do it, but more power to the lady that can.

Bennett, I want your babies. That is all.

Down To You

Down To You
Author: M. Leighton

(Blurb Provided By Goodreads.com)

The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not. Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.

Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her. Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire. She wants them both. And they want her. How will she ever choose between them?

My Review:

Oh Cash. For those who have read the book that pretty much sums it up.

For those who don't let me explain.

Cash has been living two lives. One as himself, well the expected version of himself. Another as his twin brother that died in a boat explosion with his mother when they were Seniors in high school.

He has lied. To save his dad. He has become more.

Olivia. Such a good girl. She has back bone. She has spunk, she is a kitten with claws. I like her,  I like her ignorance to her looks. I like how she is nice but not a complete pushover.

I just like her okay.

I love how she doesn't give in, when he tells her the truth.  She makes him sweat. She makes herself break. I'm such a sucker for drama. This had all the makings of a drama filled read, and it DID NOT disappoint. There was a love triangle, cheating, lying, danger, liquor, stripping and AWESOME SEX EVERYWHERE!

I fell off!!!

Due to new things happening (This little lady gottttsssss a Mayne!) I fell off on my reviews. Not my reading. So, I shall be back with awesome reviews!

Review Ten Tiny Breaths

WOW. JUST WOW.

Going into this I didn't think I'd be on such a ride. I original decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews. I'm someone that glances over the blurb and takes what the reviewers say to heart. But even with the reviews I wasn't ready.

Kacey was in a "accident". A drunk driver hit the car she was riding in with her parents best friend and boyfriend. She sat there and listened to her moms last breath as she was forced to hold her dead boyfriends hand as his body temp dropped. She is dealing P.T.S.D. Her only salvation is her little sister Livie. Smart, pretty selfless Livie. I adore Livie. She refuses to feel to just BREATHE.

In comes Trent. Who is the lifeline that she has needed along. Who touches her to her core and makes her aware. Aware that she isn't living she isn'tBREATHING. Ten Tiny Breaths. Seize them. Feel them. Love them.

Trent has a secret. It will crush her. It will be the tipping point that sends her spiraling.

I love this novel. It's real. Kacey is REAL. I've recently lost someone very close and dear to me due to drunk driving. One decision can ruin a family. It actually can ruin multiple families. K.A. Tucker taught me a very important lesson. Empathy. Not only has Kacey learned to empathize with the victims of the accident, I have learned to empathize with the person who made a decision, and took away such an important figure in my life. That being said, a author that can TEACH is amazing in their own rights!

Cover Reveal Dirty Little Secret

Bailey wasn’t always a wild child and the black sheep of her family. She used to play fiddle and tour the music circuit with her sister, Julie, who sang and played guitar. That ended when country music execs swooped in and signed Julie to a solo deal. Never mind that Julie and Bailey were a duet, or that Bailey was their songwriter. The music scouts wanted only Julie, and their parents were content to sit by and let her fulfill her dreams while Bailey’s were hushed away.

Bailey has tried to numb the pain and disappointment over what could have been. And as Julie’s debut album is set to hit the charts, her parents get fed up with Bailey’s antics and ship her off to granddad’s house in Nashville. Playing fiddle in washed-up tribute groups at the mall, Bailey meets Sam, a handsome and oh-so-persuasive guitarist with his own band. He knows Bailey’s fiddle playing is just the thing his band needs to break into the industry. But this life has broken Bailey’s heart once before. She isn’t sure she’s ready to let Sam take her there again…

Sempre Review

Title: Sempre
Author: J.M. DAHOWER
My Rating:4 of 5 stars false
I read I fell in love, I was disgusted, I understood, I wanted to cry, I laughed I couldn't put it down! I have been in a read rut lately and I can say Sempre dragged me out of it kicking and screaming at gun point. I was not expecting to be so in love with this novel.
What struck me and held me in it's grip is the honesty. Not between the characters because J.M. Darhower captured the secrets and lies that surround La Cosa Nostra. There was nothing held back. Regardless of how cold and heartless they seemed I found myself invested in these characters. They were not just people described on paper, they were actual people I came to care for. The writing was so charismatic and flowing. I gave up trying to guess the ending because I was ALWAYS wrong. It was a roller coaster on my emotions. I was played like a well tune fiddle and I effin' LOVED IT!
My only issue is the ending just ran up on me like a hit man... ahaha see what I did there. Clever I know.
It left me with way more questions then answers and I must know what happens to Corrado! I shouldn't be so in love with him. I know, but he's so real. The hard emotions he surrounds himself in and only softness he shows is for Celia. That is swoon worthy I must say. Fix the ending please! I need to know what happens
