I actually finished this quite a few months back. I need this time to collect my thoughts.

The concept, held so much potential. This could of been epic. Sadly, it was not. The main reason is Julia. It's as if she was cast in a role she was not born to play. She was weak and young minded. I wanted to reach through the screen of my kindle and slap the shit out of her. That is the only emotion I truly felt during the time I was acquainted with GI as I call it in my head.

Gabriel Emerson is a intense conflicted man. If we were able to get s glimpse into what makes Gabriel tick, a lot sooner there might have been more of a connection. Some plots work best when we are kept in the dark about one of the main characters inner conflicts. This is not one of them. It stopped me from being able to form a connection.

Over all the whole read, just was. I was more intrigued in the bits about Dante, then I was about the story over all. I don't hate or love it. I just read it.

Beautiful Bastard

Where oh where is my Beautiful Bastard?? This was GGGOOOOOOODDD!

When it first started it kind of hit me as, WOW THEY HAVE A LOT OF SEX. There seriously was no plot in the beginning. They hated each other, but they had sex. The first time in the boardroom it was like, BAM and I was like... well that came out of no where, but he ripped her panties. I mean the man RIPPED her PANTIES constantly. By that point I was hooked. Plot or not, this had the making of good sex. Something you must know about me.

Good sex... yeah, I can dig it.

Chloe, you are one fierce chick! I give you props. I bow before your ability to bring Bennett to his knees and walk away. Leaving him with a massive case of Blue Balls. GIRL POWER!I couldn't do it, but more power to the lady that can.

Bennett, I want your babies. That is all.

Down To You

Down To You
Author: M. Leighton

(Blurb Provided By Goodreads.com)

The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not. Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.

Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her. Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire. She wants them both. And they want her. How will she ever choose between them?

My Review:

Oh Cash. For those who have read the book that pretty much sums it up.

For those who don't let me explain.

Cash has been living two lives. One as himself, well the expected version of himself. Another as his twin brother that died in a boat explosion with his mother when they were Seniors in high school.

He has lied. To save his dad. He has become more.

Olivia. Such a good girl. She has back bone. She has spunk, she is a kitten with claws. I like her,  I like her ignorance to her looks. I like how she is nice but not a complete pushover.

I just like her okay.

I love how she doesn't give in, when he tells her the truth.  She makes him sweat. She makes herself break. I'm such a sucker for drama. This had all the makings of a drama filled read, and it DID NOT disappoint. There was a love triangle, cheating, lying, danger, liquor, stripping and AWESOME SEX EVERYWHERE!

I fell off!!!

Due to new things happening (This little lady gottttsssss a Mayne!) I fell off on my reviews. Not my reading. So, I shall be back with awesome reviews!
