Review Ten Tiny Breaths

WOW. JUST WOW.

Going into this I didn't think I'd be on such a ride. I original decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews. I'm someone that glances over the blurb and takes what the reviewers say to heart. But even with the reviews I wasn't ready.

Kacey was in a "accident". A drunk driver hit the car she was riding in with her parents best friend and boyfriend. She sat there and listened to her moms last breath as she was forced to hold her dead boyfriends hand as his body temp dropped. She is dealing P.T.S.D. Her only salvation is her little sister Livie. Smart, pretty selfless Livie. I adore Livie. She refuses to feel to just BREATHE.

In comes Trent. Who is the lifeline that she has needed along. Who touches her to her core and makes her aware. Aware that she isn't living she isn'tBREATHING. Ten Tiny Breaths. Seize them. Feel them. Love them.

Trent has a secret. It will crush her. It will be the tipping point that sends her spiraling.

I love this novel. It's real. Kacey is REAL. I've recently lost someone very close and dear to me due to drunk driving. One decision can ruin a family. It actually can ruin multiple families. K.A. Tucker taught me a very important lesson. Empathy. Not only has Kacey learned to empathize with the victims of the accident, I have learned to empathize with the person who made a decision, and took away such an important figure in my life. That being said, a author that can TEACH is amazing in their own rights!
