Rough & Real By: Hayley Faiman

This is it in a Nutshell:

Ivy Gaines has loved one man in her lifetime. After fifteen years of marriage and three kids, reality hasn’t changed that—but sometimes love isn’t enough.

West “Camo” Gaines has never wanted anyone the way he wants his wife, but the Notorious Devils’ club life has opened his eyes and awakened a desire he knows he can’t explore with the mother of his children.

Lies, misunderstanding, betrayal and silence are the bitter pills they swallow daily as the marriage they thought would last forever begins to unravel. It isn’t until club rivalries threaten to shatter their entire world that they realize how much they have to fight for.

When things get rough and real, they’re forced to remember just how deep their love goes.

Talk about a roller coaster ride. I was going to take a day to decompress and gather my sanity but I though …. NAH! So this should be fun, I can break this down into 3 points. That’s all I got in my brain at the moment.
First: Way to go HAYLIE! It’s safe to say I was impatiently waiting for this bad boy since the clip added at the end of Rough & Rich. The wait was so worth it! The way my emotions and sanity was so beautifully played with, was DA BOMB.(Do people still say da bomb? I’m not that old) Anywho, the writing was beautiful. I really could relate to what was happening. I was in the moment with Ivy & West, I was in the moment with their kids too.
Second: Can we have a round of applause for Ivy Please?! I mean that woman *le sigh* complete girl crush. She never let the shambles of her marriage and life effect being a mother. She is relatable. I understood her actions and reactions. Talk about holding down the fort and throwing down what needed to be thrown down! Thank you Jesus!
Third: West. Oh Lord West. I loved you, I hated you, I questioned your sanity and masculinity. Majority of the book I wasn’t sure if I could still be friends with you. I wasn’t 100% if you could come back from all your horse caca. Well way to nail it West. Thank you for redeeming yourself. I was concerned there for a moment.

So over all, I pretty much loved it and totes recommend it. I mean I fan girled super hard over this one. I came out of my reviewing sabbatical and it was worth it!
